- A prayer room to accommodate those whose faith has prescribed prayer times throughout the work day. This private and discreet room is utilized regularly by members of certain faiths;
- Job sharing and reduced work schedules are available to employees with family or medical requirements. This helps to ensure our employees are able to tend to important personal demands while maintaining their duties at work – a win-win for both sides;
- Adjustable office equipment is standard to accommodate for differences in height among our workforce. All workstations are adjustable and our superior Ergonomics program offers many tools and resources for ensuring each person fits their workstation;
- We acknowledge that some people may require special measures in order to participate in job interviews and in our invitation to interview, we are incorporating a statement inviting candidates to request accommodations if required;
- We have a Native Circle on-site that serves as a support for Aboriginal employees. They also put together plans for the annual Aboriginal Day events on site. We are also in the process of creating other resource groups in 2012.
